Possession and maintenance of a valid Child Development Associate Permit from the State of California Commission on Teacher Credentialing; AND *Education as required by the “Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015”: * High school diploma or equivalent AND two (2) years of higher education study (48-semester units); OR * Possession of an Associate’s or higher degree; OR * Meet a rigorous quality standard and demonstrate, through a formal State or local academic assessment, knowledge and the ability to assist in instructing, reading, writing, and mathematics.

- NCLB Compliance (Possession of an Associate’s or higher degree; OR 48 Semester Units or Meet rigorous academic assessment )
