POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
The Nursing Coordinator serves as a leader, collaborating with the health care team to create an environment of high quality patient care and customer satisfaction. Responsible for operational personnel staffing and directing personnel; assists director in providing mechanism for ensuring quality care, issue resolution, orientation, and ongoing competency of personnel. Assists in planning and maintaining materials, equipment and supplies necessary for employees to perform their job, and providing cost effective services to patients and physicians. Maintains active communication among staff, medical staff, and health center leadership.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
BSN or plan for completion of BSN
Minimum Experience
Two years of clinical experience related to population served
Required Registration/License/Certification
Current Kansas registered nurse license
Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment
