POSITION SUMMARY
Position Summary:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse provides safe, high quality, thoughtful care to residents following professional standards, state regulations, and in keeping with the health center mission.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing/licensed practical nursing program
Minimum Experience
Hospital experience within the past 5 years preferred
Required Registration/License/Certification
Current Kansas LPN license
Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully obtained within the first 90 days of employment
