- Position Summary:
- This positions reviews admissions for outpatient Wound Care procedures to provide complete and accurate financial information and documentation. Verifies and pre-certifies outpatient services as defined by payers. Assists with direct patient care in outpatient or inpatient setting as directed by RN.
- POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum Education
- Graduation from an accredited school licensed practical nursing program
- Minimum Experience
- One year experience in an office setting
- Required Registration/License/Certification
- Current Kansas Licensed Practical Nurse license
- Basic Life Support certification from either American Red Cross CPR/AED for the Health Care Provider or Basic Life Support (American Heart Association-Health Care Provider) successfully completed within the first 90 days of employment
