JRI Hospitality is seeking experienced and dynamic Event Staff Personnel to provide exceptional service and execute unique dining experiences for our guests. Event Staff Personnel will be responsible for ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests by providing unparalleled service and hospitality. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for hospitality, and a commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Support the planning, coordination, and execution of events and functions held at Salina Country Club or any off-site location owned by JRI Hospitality. Close collaboration with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that events are organized effectively and delivered to the highest standard. Coordinate event setup, décor, and any special requests in collaboration with the Event Coordinator.
Communicate when needed with clients to understand event requirements and ensure expectations are met.
Liaise with kitchen and wait staff to coordinate food and beverage service.
Ensure event areas are prepared and maintained in a clean, professional condition.
Respond to client questions and requests in a timely and professional manner.
Provide on-site support during events to ensure smooth operation.
Maintain event records and assist with post-event reporting and evaluation.
Bartending and serving will be a primary job task.
Hours will vary week-to-week.
Qualifications
Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, and/or customer service preferred.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Knowledge of event management software a plus.
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time. Lift up to 25 pounds.
Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Job Type: Part-time
Wage Range: $12-$16 per hour tips
