Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of successful job-related experience
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Work keys tests Applied Math and Workplace Documents with a score of 3 or higher, Associates Degree, or 48 college credit hours
- Strong organizational, time management, communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with computer technologies
- Knowledge of the needs of students requiring remedial reading instruction
- Ability to work effectively with administrators, colleagues, students, parents
- Ability to use diagnostic data to tailor instruction to meet the needs of the student(s)
- Further and support the Mission and Vision of Salida del Sol Academy
- Works with individual students or small groups to reinforce instructional material planned and/or presented by classroom teacher.
- Assists with computer assignments and various classroom activities. Supports individual student's access to the curriculum (note taking, reading, assistive technology, etc.)
- Administers tests and other assignments as assigned
- Interacts with technology for data entry and instruction
- Monitors students before, during or after school
- Assists with lesson plans
- Maintain communication with classroom teachers regarding student progress
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Annual Salary Range $27,424.08 to $32,303.43 depending on experience and education.
