The Opportunity:
Salesforce is seeking a driven and results-oriented Regional Vice President to join our dynamic team. In this leadership role, you will manage a sales responsible for driving the adoption of Salesforce solutions. You will leverage your strong relationship-building skills and proven sales management acumen to identify opportunities, navigate complex procurements, and ultimately help these agencies achieve their missions through the power of the Salesforce platform.

What You'll Be Leading a Team of AE's with responsibility for the following:

  • Along with your AE's you will develop, execute and manage a comprehensive sales strategy.

  • Identify key stakeholders and decision-makers within target agencies, building and nurturing strong, long-term relationships at all levels.

  • Conduct compelling presentations and product demonstrations that clearly showcase the benefits of Salesforce.

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial contact and qualification through proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams, including Sales Engineering, Solution Architects, Marketing, and Legal, to ensure successful customer engagements.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and customer interactions within Salesforce.

  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance objectives.

  • Represent Salesforce at industry events and conferences.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.

  • Minimum of 5 years of successful enterprise sales management experience.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and navigate lengthy procurement processes.

  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.

  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

  • Ability to travel within the assigned territory as needed.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions. The typical base salary range for this position is $204,100 - $272,950 annually There is a different range applicable to specific work locations. In California and New York, and select cities in the metropolitan areas of Boston, Chicago, Seattle, and Washington DC, the base pay range for this role in those locations is $224,500 - $300,250 per year. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
