THE COMPANY:
This Western USA commercial contractor specializes in providing mechanical / HVAC products, building control systems, and services. Their solutions help businesses and municipalities to operate safer, more efficient, and more reliable buildings.
As the company continues to grow, they need to hire a new team member who will support commercial sales and administrative tasks for the Oregon branch.
THE JOB:
The job opportunity combines sales administration, proposal coordination, customer communication, and technology support. You would report directly to the branch leader, working in the office Monday-Friday (Sherwood/Tigard/Tualatin, Oregon area).
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing mechanical service estimates and customer proposals using information provided by technicians.
- Coordinate material pricing, vendor quotes and subcontractor information.
- Organize documentation, drawings and proposal materials.
- Support the outside sales team with administrative sales activities.
- Communicate with commercial customers regarding proposals, questions and service follow-up.
- Maintain/leverage Microsoft Dynamics CRM information, assist with pipeline reporting and prepare sales reports.
- Identify opportunities to improve administrative workflows and leverage AI-enabled tools.
- Assist with marketing coordination and occasional industry events.
THE QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2 years of sales support and/or administrative experience in construction or industrial settings
- Tech savvy, comfortable learning new business software and AI tools
- Experience communicating with customers via phone
- Strong communicator and organized, working with internal teams and external customers
- Coachable, eager learner
- Experience with industrial quoting, estimating, and/or pricing (preferred but not required)
- Able to work M-F in the office (Sherwood/Tigard/Tualatin, Oregon area)
