Commercial Insurance Agent (Business Insurance Agent)
Are you driven, entrepreneurial, and interested in building a long-term career in commercial insurance? We are looking for a Business Insurance Agent who wants to grow a strong portfolio of commercial insurance clients with the support of our district office and local agents.

What You’ll Do- Sell commercial insurance products, including property, liability, workers’ compensation, and commercial auto
- Prospect and develop relationships with small to mid-sized business owners
- Build and manage a growing portfolio of commercial insurance clients with the help of our district office and referrals from our local agents
- Conduct policy reviews and identify coverage gaps and growth opportunities
- Work with Farmers’ strong brand, underwriting support, and product portfolio
- Develop long-term client relationships focused on retention and referrals
- Strong interest in commercial insurance sales
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build and grow a successful sales career
- Self-motivated, disciplined, and goal-oriented
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to prospect and generate new business
- Insurance experience preferred, but not required (training available)
- Must be able to obtain or already hold applicable Property & Casualty License
