Role Description

We’re seeking a Part-Time Business Development Representative to join our team in a hybrid capacity, working 15–20 hours per week with flexible scheduling. You will be based primarily in our Midtown Manhattan office—with remote options available outside of required onsite time.


In this role, you’ll drive new business growth through cold calls, appointment setting, and collaboration with multiple departments (marketing, sales leadership, executive leadership) to gain a holistic view of our company. You’ll work closely with our Head of Sales, Christian Clements, the marketing team, and our CEO, Dominick DeFazio. Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be discussed in detail later, ensuring you have clear targets for success.


Key Responsibilities
  • Generate Leads & Pipeline: Initiate cold calls, set appointments, and build a robust pipeline for continued business growth.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with the marketing team, sales leadership, and CEO to refine outreach strategies and gain a well-rounded perspective of our operations.
  • Utilize Sales Tools: Leverage Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay, and other platforms to identify, track, and nurture prospects.
  • Provide Insights: Gather feedback from potential clients to shape our go-to-market approach and contribute to overall revenue goals.


Required Qualifications
  • Cold Calling/Outbound Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in a sales or BDR role involving high-volume outreach.
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Ability to quickly connect with prospects and build rapport.
  • Ambitious & Adaptable Attitude: Comfort in a startup environment, where fluidity and a self-starter mentality are key.
  • Tech-Savviness: Willingness and ability to learn new tools and platforms quickly.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Salesforce or CRM Expertise: Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem or prior CRM experience is a plus.
  • Startup/Tech Industry Experience: Passion for AI solutions or consulting in a fast-paced, innovative environment.


Compensation & Benefits


  • Hourly Rate: $20/hour base pay.
  • Recurring Commission: 10% on deals that you close, offering substantial earning potential given our large contract sizes.
  • Additional Perks: Further benefits and bonuses will be discussed in subsequent stages of the interview process.


Work Arrangement & Schedule


  • Time Commitment: 15–20 hours per week.
  • Flexibility: Workdays and schedules are flexible, as long as total weekly hours are met.
  • Hybrid Setup: Required onsite presence in Midtown Manhattan with the option to work remotely on other days.
