What are the responsibilities and job description for the Regional Vice President, Sales - DevOps Market Unicorn- Lead the Next Growth Chapter position at Sales Talent Inc.?
Location: East or Central
Join an established enterprise software company with a deep footprint across Fortune 100, Fortune 1000, and Global 2000 organizations as it enters a major new phase of growth and transformation.
With a new CEO, a new CRO, and an AI-first product strategy, the company is rebuilding portions of its North American GTM organization around the rapidly changing way enterprises build, secure, govern, and release software.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a hands-on enterprise sales leader who wants to operate with significant ownership. Rather than simply managing an established playbook, you will effectively serve as the CEO of the region, owning revenue performance, developing the existing team, recruiting top enterprise sellers, and helping shape how the organization goes to market.
In This Role, You Will:
- Own revenue performance across the U.S. enterprise business
- Lead, coach, and develop an existing team of Enterprise Account Executives
- Recruit and hire high-performing enterprise sellers as the organization scales
- Build a disciplined operating cadence around pipeline, forecasting, opportunity progression, and rep development
- Drive new-logo pipeline creation while helping expand strategic enterprise relationships
- Work directly with sellers on complex, high-value enterprise opportunities
- Help reps identify business pain, reach executive decision makers, build compelling business cases, and navigate technical evaluations
- Improve pipeline coverage, qualification, multi-threading, executive engagement, and forecast accuracy
- Assess existing talent and determine where to coach, develop, promote, or make changes
- Partner closely with Marketing, RevOps, Professional Services, Product, and executive leadership
- Help translate highly technical software capabilities into measurable business outcomes for enterprise customers
- Play an active role in shaping the culture, talent strategy, and GTM motion of the organization
The Market Opportunity
AI is dramatically increasing the amount of software organizations can create, but that productivity introduces a new set of challenges around security, governance, compliance, quality, vulnerabilities, and control.
The company's next-generation platform is designed to sit across an enterprise's existing software development toolchain and provide governance, orchestration, and visibility without requiring customers to rip and replace the tools they already use.
The business brings significant enterprise credibility and an established customer footprint into this next stage of its evolution, creating an opportunity to combine the resources of an established software company with the ownership and influence of a growth-stage environment.
What Makes This Opportunity Unique?
- Newly evolving North American GTM organization under a new CEO and CRO
- Significant autonomy to operate as the leader of the business
- Opportunity to recruit, develop, and shape your own team
- Established enterprise customer footprint combined with a startup-style operating mentality
- Major product evolution around AI-powered software delivery, governance, and security
- Ability to influence sales process and GTM strategy rather than simply inherit an established playbook
- Direct involvement in strategic enterprise opportunities and lighthouse accounts
- Strong opportunity for a successful Sales Director or emerging RVP ready to take on broader ownership
- High visibility with executive leadership
- Equity participation
