Recruiting Specialist
Department: Human Resources
Report to: Director of Human Resources
The Recruiting Specialist will support the Human Resources department by leading and coordinating recruiting efforts, managing candidate pipelines, and assisting with various HR functions and administrative tasks. This role plays a key part in attracting top talent, ensuring a positive candidate experience, and contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support:
- Assist in coordinating job postings and managing job postings across job boards, social media, and the company website
- Support candidate sourcing efforts using recruiting platforms and outreach strategies
- Schedule interviews and maintain interview calendars.
- Communicate with candidates, arrange interview logistics, and prepare/distribute interview materials.
- Conduct initial resume reviews and assist with candidate screening
- Maintain candidate pipelines and update applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ensure a positive and professional candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Employer Branding & Recruiting Marketing
- Assist in developing and executing recruiting marketing strategies
- Create and manage job advertisements and recruitment-related content
- Support social media efforts to promote company culture, open roles and employee engagement
- Highlight employee recognition, events and workplace initiatives
- Plan and coordinate career fairs, hiring events and community outreach
- Track and report on recruiting metrics and marketing effectiveness
Onboarding and Offboarding
- Assist with new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- Ensure new hire paperwork is completed and processed accurately.
- Support onboarding communications and new hire engagement efforts
- Coordinate exit interviews and handle offboarding paperwork.
HR Administration
- Maintain HR databases and employee records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare HR documents such as employment contracts and offer letters.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
- Assist with general HR projects and administrative tasks
Employee Relations
- Assist in organizing employee events, meetings, and training sessions.
- Handle employee requests and escalate issues to HR management as needed.
- Support employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
Compliance and Reporting
- Assist in maintaining compliance with HR regulations and company policies.
- Prepare HR reports recruiting metrics and hiring data
- Support audits and inspections related to HR practices.
Working Conditions:
- Sitting up to 8 hours per day
- Occasional lifting of 25 lbs or less
- This position typically operates in a professional office environment.
- Regular hours, with occasional overtime during peak periods or special projects.
- Attendance at Career fairs, HR Seminars, and continuing education sessions is required.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications:

- Experience with payroll processing or benefits administration.
- Familiarity with labor laws and regulations.
