Senior UX Designer, Residential

As the Senior UX Designer, Residential at Spectrum, you will drive user experience vision and execution across our telecom e-commerce ecosystem, collaborating with product and engineering leaders to deliver intuitive, conversion-focused solutions. Your expertise shapes AI-enabled workflows that accelerate innovation and empower customers to discover and purchase with ease—making a measurable impact across our product landscape.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Lead the UX/UI vision and strategy for Spectrum’s digital sales channels spanning internet, wireless, and TV/entertainment offerings
• Develop experience design strategies that boost customer acquisition, streamline purchase journeys, and support engagement across multiple touchpoints
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams throughout discovery, design, delivery, and optimization phases
• Operate within AI-enabled workflows to enhance prototyping, clarify requirements, and expedite concept exploration for efficient software development
• Align product intent, design execution, and engineering outcomes for cohesive and effective delivery
• Facilitate rapid testing, learning, and refinement to continually improve user experiences
• Advocate for scalable design systems, reusable patterns, and robust documentation to ensure consistency and speed
• Utilize research, analytics, experimentation, and user feedback to inform prioritization and refine product decisions

What You’ll Bring to Spectrum   

 

Required Qualifications   

 

Education  

• Bachelor’s degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Advanced degree in a design-related discipline is a plus, or equivalent practical experience in UX/UI design

Experience   

• 6 years of experience solving UX problems in eCommerce

Preferred Qualifications

 

Experience

• Experience in telecom, cable, broadband, wireless, or mobile environments, focusing on digital customer and agent experiences
• Expertise in designing UX for offer presentation, product discovery, and sales workflows in subscription-based businesses
• Familiarity with cable and mobile sales processes, including product comparison and conversion strategies
• Understanding of promotional strategies, pricing optimization, and their impact on UX and conversion
• Ability to design for telecom environments involving billing dependencies and configuration rules
• Proficiency in using analytics and customer insights to enhance digital experiences
• Experience collaborating in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid environments with AI-enabled tools for efficient design iteration

The base pay for this position generally is between $86,000.00 and $182,900.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
