The Director of Nursing (DON) is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care to Salemtowne residents by overseeing the Nursing Department in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as the facility’s policies and procedures.

Requirements for a Director of Nursing with Salemtowne:
- Registered Nurse; B.S.N. or M.S.N. required.
- Active Statewide Program for Infection Control & Epidemiology (SPICE) certification preferred, not required.
- Current Health Care Provider BCLS Certification, obtained through the American Heart or Red Cross Program.
- Progressive leadership experience in the nursing profession, with at least five (5) years’ experience in long-term care, preferably some or all experience in a CCRC.
- Proven experience as Director of Nursing.
