Salem University has an immediate opening for a Maintenance/Grounds Worker.
The Maintenance/Grounds Worker is responsible for the repairs and maintenance of buildings and equipment on the campus. Painting, simple plumbing and general repairs are included in the duties. The Maintenance/Grounds Worker is also responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding the university buildings. This ranges from planting flowers, mowing grass, pulling weeds, raking leaves and shoveling snow.
Requirements:
Position requires an HS diploma, valid driver’s license and applicant must be able to pass a background check. Additional skills and certifications will be favorably considered.
This is a full-time hourly position with benefits. Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
