Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. This role requires a proactive approach to custodial duties, with an emphasis on quality and efficiency.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to maintain cleanliness.
- Conduct custodial duties in school settings, ensuring all areas are clean and well-maintained.
- Carry out facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and upkeep of equipment, as needed.
- Execute floor care procedures including buffing, waxing, and polishing to enhance the appearance of surfaces.
- Manage waste disposal and recycling processes to promote a clean environment.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all areas are serviced efficiently.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in custodial role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with staff and visitors.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $20.10 - $23.54 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
