Position: Part Time Outpatient Therapist
Department: Behavioral Health
Shift: Days 0.4-0.8 FTE
PURPOSE
The position of Outpatient Therapist is responsible for providing counseling and psychotherapy for the population served. The Therapist may diagnose and treat emotional and behavioral problems under supervision specified by licensure. The Therapist is responsible for the clinical record and collaborates with other providers to deliver comprehensive and client-focused care.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in one of the following clinical mental health disciplines: social work or counseling. Ohio independent licensure is required (LISW or LPC) and additional certification (e.g. chemical dependency, family therapy) is preferred
- Education, licensure, and credentialing necessary to secure reimbursement for psychotherapy services.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in mental health service delivery with a minimum of one (1) year full time equivalent experience in leading group therapy preferred, but not necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must have ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health care team.
