What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Account Manager position at Salem Metal, Inc.?
Description:
- ERP Processing (Quoting, Order Entry, RMA, Purchasing, Job Management, Job Costing)
- Customer support as it relates to pricing, expediting of open orders, problem solving, lead times, and schedule changes
- Project management to deliver a high level of customer service
- Maintain a neat and well organized work space
- Participate in training, software upgrades, and team meetings
- Progressive towards lean manufacturing principles
Requirements:
- Precision Sheet Metal experience preferred but willing to train the right candidate
- Experience using an ERP system required
- Reading drawings and understanding customer specifications
- Excellent customer service and communication skills required
- Dependable, positive attitude, and able to work independently
- Attention to precise detail accuracy
- Understanding of raw materials/alloys & finishing requirements
- Able to multi-task in an effort to manage multiple accounts
- Demonstrate an initiative for success and a positive work environment
