Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a delivery vehicle along assigned routes in the Sterling Heights, MI area
- Load, sort, and organize packages for efficient daily delivery
- Scan and track packages using FedEx delivery technology and handheld devices
- Ensure accurate and timely delivery of parcels to residential and commercial customers
- Obtain signatures and confirm delivery confirmations as required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized delivery vehicle
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route updates or issues
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must meet minimum age requirement (typically 21 ) for commercial vehicle operation
- Ability to lift and carry packages up to 75 lbs regularly
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet daily delivery deadlines
- Familiarity with the Sterling Heights, MI area preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dependable, punctual, and customer-service oriented attitude
