A Cart Barn Attendant is responsible for managing the golf cart fleet and ensuring a seamless experience for golfers. Key responsibilities typically include:
- Cart Preparation and Maintenance: Cleaning, charging, and staging golf carts for daily use. This involves washing carts after each use, checking for damages, and ensuring they are ready for the next player.
- Customer Service: Assisting golfers by loading and unloading their golf bags, providing scorecards, pencils, and other necessary items. Offering directions and information about the course as needed.
- Facility Maintenance: Keeping the cart barn, bag room, and surrounding areas clean and organized. This includes tasks like trash removal, sweeping, and mopping.
- Driving Range Support: Maintaining the driving range by picking up range balls, setting up the teeing area, and ensuring it's clean and ready for use.
- Tournament Assistance: Collaborating with golf professionals to prepare for and conduct golf tournaments, ensuring all equipment and carts are properly set up.
The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, and the capacity to perform physical tasks such as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. A valid driver's license is required and prior experience in a similar role is a plus.
