What are the responsibilities and job description for the Helpdesk Technician position at Salem Clinic PC?
Full-time opening at Salem Clinic Main, 2020 Capitol St NE, Salem, OR 97301
Be the first friendly, capable voice that keeps Salem Clinic running.
At Salem Clinic, the Help Desk is the first stop for every technology question, hiccup, and "can you take a look at this?" moment across our organization. We are a physician-owned, multi-specialty group that has served the Salem community for generations, and we are actively investing in AI and modern technology to help our providers work smarter and care for patients better. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be right in the middle of that work, on the phone, at the ticket queue, and at the desk of the person who needs you.
Every ticket you resolve, every call you route correctly, and every voicemail box you get working again means a provider or staff member can get back to focusing on patient care. Your work is the calm, capable first response that keeps the rest of the clinic moving.
Why You'll Love This Team
- A close-knit IS team that genuinely supports each other, learns together, and takes pride in keeping Salem Clinic running.
- A front-row seat to our AI initiatives, you will help configure, test, and shape the in-house AI tools we are rolling out clinic-wide.
- Variety in every shift: hardware, software, phones, and people, no two days look the same.
- Real growth potential within a physician-owned, community-rooted clinic where people build long, meaningful careers.
