Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our dynamic medical imaging team. In this vital role, you will operate mobile C-Arm imaging equipment to produce high-quality images that assist in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Experience with C-Arms in spine and pain cases is a must. Your expertise will contribute to providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed. Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of radiologic imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy.
- Assist the OR staff with patient positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort throughout the exam.
- Implement radiation safety procedures diligently to protect patients, staff, and yourself from unnecessary exposure.
- Assist with specialized imaging techniques such as interventional radiology and interventional radiography procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and equipment usage in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure diagnostic evaluations are performed efficiently and effectively.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during all procedures to ensure patient safety.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating radiologic imaging equipment including fluoroscopy, nuclear medicine technology.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic radiology principles.
- Familiarity with radiation safety procedures and implementing radiation safety protocols consistently.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with diverse patient populations.
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT or equivalent) required; additional certifications.
- Knowledge of medical imaging modalities including ultrasound (sonography), fluoroscopy, interventional radiology procedures, and physiology knowledge for accurate diagnostics.
