Product Development & Imports Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Product Development & Imports Coordinator to oversee product development from concept through launch, manage item setup and product assets, and handle end-to-end import coordination with Asia-based factories. This role is central to ensuring product quality, cost control, accurate product information, and on-time launches while serving as a key liaison between internal teams, overseas partners, and vendors. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong organizational skills.Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Development & Launch ManagementManage product development timelines and launch cadence from concept through productionIdentify new product opportunities, coordinate testing, and validate product performanceReview and verify production samples to ensure quality, specifications, and brand standards are metProvide ongoing feedback to factories to improve product quality and performanceOversee packaging development, updates, and improvementsWrite and maintain clear, accurate product manuals and instructionsCollect, organize, and maintain complete product data, specifications, and documentationPrepare trend reports and product insights to support future development decisionsProduct Set Up & Asset ManagementMaintain consistency across Canva sales decks, product specifications, and internal documentationManage image naming conventions, organization, basic editing, and asset accuracyAct as main point of contact for overseas photo/video studios, including China-based studiosMonitor product status and listings on customer and partner websitesReview and audit product images, descriptions, and listings for accuracy and brand alignmentSupport management of small accounts listings as neededImports & Factory CoordinationServe as Asia factory liaison, primarily coordinating with China-based vendorsAssist CEO with all China-based communication and follow-upsPlace factory purchase orders and manage all item-level detailsOversee landed cost management, including freight, duties, and related expensesManage cost control initiatives and support margin optimizationCoordinate quality control and inspections, either in person or through third-party servicesCross-Functional Collaboration & ReportingCoordinate with customer service teams to address defects, returns, and customer feedbackTrack recurring issues and work with factories on corrective actionsQualificationsExperience with Excel, Google Suite, Clickup, CanvaExperience in product development, imports, or supply chain management (consumer products preferred)Strong understanding of overseas manufacturing, especially China-based factoriesFamiliarity with quality control processes and inspectionsExcellent organizational skills with strong attention to detailComfortable managing multiple projects, timelines, and priorities simultaneouslyStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with product listings, and digital asset management is a plusAbility to adapt and take on additional tasks and responsibilities as neededDesired AttributesExcellent time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.A strong work ethic and a commitment to meeting daily productivity goals.Work Environment and Benefits:Maintain US working hours, in office: Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:00 pm (US PST).Enjoy a wonderful, fast-paced, collaborative work environmentGatherings throughout the year with games and prizesLots of snacks and an office dog to keep things fun (must love dogs)!Annual Bonus PlanPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysCompany Paid Health InsuranceCompany Paid Dental Insurance401k Plan with automatic 3% contributionProfit Sharing PlanBirthday BonusHoliday BonusCompany DescriptionCT Brand Co. is a dynamic and fast-paced wholesaler specializing in steam appliances, cleaning appliances, and storage & organization products.
