Job Summary:
The Mid-level Plumbing Designer/ Engineer serves to focus primarily on the design of building related projects, including hotels, apartment buildings, retail/commercial spaces, and educational facilities using Revit and AutoCAD software.

General Duties:
- Design plumbing systems for various commercial buildings
- Participate in the development of system design calculations as well as the selection of equipment for use in buildings
- Prepare detailed design documents and
- Complete specification writing/editing as well as code compliance research
- Coordinate work with other disciplines
- Perform site surveys to determine and document existing conditions
- Provide construction administration services
Skills:
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work
- Knowledgeable with codes, standards and design guidelines
- Possess an excellent work ethic and attitude
Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience of plumbing design
- 2 years of experience using Revit
- EIT/ PE a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred but not required.
