Job Summary: ICT is looking for a personable experienced Electrical Engineer to join a multi-disciplined design team! The position will be within our Charleston, SC office, assisting in Commercial and Federal projects. This individual must be a registered Professional Engineer in the Electrical field and familiar with state-of-the-art design and various state and local regulations. Responsibilities:
- Knowledge of electrical engineering principles in the field of building construction.
- Capable of increasing technical competency when seeking and executing work in new and evolving market sectors.
- Participates in preparing proposals and presentations to clients.
- Assists in the preparation or modification of reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, studies, permits, and project designs.
- Visits construction site to monitor progress and other duties per contract documents.
- Checks all technical work for accuracy.
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with architects, owners and contractors.
- ICT encourages the growth of all our engineers to take a more responsible and leadership role based on experience.
Qualifications:
- PE in Electrical Engineering preferred, not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience and detailed understanding of Revit is a plus.
- 7 years of design/engineering consulting experience.
