What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Coordinator position at Salas O'Brien?
Job Summary The Compliance Coordinator works with clients and internal staff to ensure we are meeting our obligations to clients with proactive management of service level agreements. This person also provides reports to those inside and outside the company related to our compliance with these obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintains and updates documentation and internal systems regarding pricing, service level agreements, and other requirements for Haag clients; communicates updates to Haag team members.
- Assists in developing procedures to implement pricing, service level agreements, and other requirements for Haag clients.
- Assists in developing tools to monitor compliance for Haag’s clients.
- Monitors and pro-actively addresses problems for compliance working with Haag team members.
- Assists Haag team members with invoicing for compliance including providing any additional documentation for clients with special invoicing systems/requirements.
- Updates external client systems on a regular basis (daily, weekly, or as needed) for compliance.
- Completes regular (monthly, quarterly, semi-annually, annually, or as needed) reporting requirements as needed for management and/or Sales/Marketing.
- Special projects (other duties) as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
- Demonstrates administrative support techniques and principles.
- Ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with employees and clients.
- Builds and maintains positive and cooperative working relationships.
- Maintains enthusiasm and a sense of urgency towards work.
- Accepts and adjusts to changes in work priorities willingly and efficiently.
- Strong grammar and proof-reading skills.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work number of assigned hours.
- Possesses strong critical thinking skills and is willing to go above and beyond to get the job done.
- Preferred experience with vendor agreements including service level agreements and compliance.
- Preferred experience with Salesforce and other third party software including Xactimate/XactAnalysis, CoreLogic, Alacrity, and others.

The pay range for this position is $25 to $28 per hour depending on experience. After 90 days, this is a hybrid role working 3 days in the Flower Mound, TX office and 2 days remotely each week. A fully remote work arrangement is potentially possible for highly qualified candidates with experience in the same or a very similar role.
