Administrative & Inventory Control Specialist

Location: Lubbock, TX

The job

The Administrative & Inventory Control Specialist will be responsible for daily office administration tasks and approximately 100k in inventory.  This will be an in-office position required to support the normal office hours of 7:30 am – 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Utilize software to manage purchases, receive goods, approve invoices and manage time sheet entry.
• Manage on site inventory – monitoring usage and conducting regular cycle counts to ensure the project team has enough materials on site for support project schedule.
• Attend all department and sales meetings as requested.
• Support project managers in RFQ process by sending RFQs to vendors, suppliers and manufacturers for project bids set by the project scope.
• Source and purchase materials for successful bids.
• Drive forklift within warehouse environment to move inventory.
• Travel to client site when needed.
• Assist in the coordination of projects as needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate leadership.

• Support special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Three years’ proven experience.
• Strong time management, organizational and multitasking skills.
• Forklift experience a plus – willing to train
• Must have driver’s license – clean record preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.

Compensation & Benefits:

• The expected base salary range for this role is $27 - $35 USD per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on a number of factors including skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
