Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Execute process, equipment, and facility changes in a cGMP environment.
Provide technical support to Engineering Design, Construction Management, and CQV/Start-up
teams as required for large facility projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, MS&T, Operations, Quality, Maintenance,
EHS, etc.) during the turnover, startup, and commissioning phases for facility, process, and utilities
systems.
Work with equipment designers and manufacturing officers to develop a cost-effective and working
production process.
Advanced ability to perform all duties of Senior Process Engineer level and coach and mentor Senior
Process Engineers and Process Engineers in their duties.
Oversee process design projects and ensure the efficient and safe functioning of all the processes
related to producing a product, substance, or service.
Design processes and equipment related to the development and commercialization of products or
services that are cost effective and keep with a given budget.
Integrate new technology or environmentally friendly practices into existing processes.
Mentor and direct more junior engineers to coach and develop staff and ensure adherence to
current standards and best practices.
Able to present process critical data to client executives that may create the basis for decisions on
related process projects.

Senior Process Engineer competencies.
Experience with AutoCAD/Primavera preferred.
Hands-on experience with FAT, SAT, IOQ, and PVs in a highly automated environment (Emerson
DeltaV, Siemens, Allen-Bradley).
Industry expertise in one or more of the following areas as example:
o Utilities: high purity water and steam systems, CIP/SIP, gaseous systems, and
decontamination and waste treatment utilities systems.
o Upstream Processes: cell culture/fermentation and centrifuge harvesting.
o Downstream Processes: purification unit operations such as UF/DF, chromatography, and
ultracentrifugation (drug substance facilities).
o Formulation, filling (vial, syringe, cartridge, bag), inspection, packaging, serialization (drug
product facilities).
Drive the FEL (front end loading) and Basis of Design for pharmaceutical capital projects.
Professional Experience:
15 years
Relevant Industry Experience
10 years
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or equivalent preferred).
Mentoring & Management Skills:
Leading teams and developing all levels of staff.
