PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES AND RELATIONSHIPS
- Will be responsible for performing data analysis that includes planned, predictive, a conditions-based monitoring.
- Conduct root cause and failure analysis of equipment failures. Create both short term and long-term corrective plans to address the failures,
- Supporting and conduct investigation of equipment Special Cause and Major Breakdown incidents. Using resources as but not limited to: OE manufactures recommendation, WO history, component allocation history, planned maintenance feedback, production yields and quality.
- Use the PM01 work order malfunction section to develop and implement MTTR and MTBF KPIs from plant level down to and including individual equipment.
- Using the MTTR and MTBF to develop and implement plans for their improvement.
- Access Equipment Life cycles, establish repair and replacement frequencies.
- Conduct and document failure mode and effects analysis using the PFMEA system for production assets.
- Using the SAP functional location BOM, create and maintaining the Critical Equipment list.
- Development of maintenance procedures, both new and optimization of current planned maintenance by working side by side with maintenance personnel.
- Drive improvements to uptime.
- Providing technical support and training for the PIs, Maintenance Team leaders, and maintenance technicians.
- Interfaces with the plant EHS department to ensure all safety requirements are enforce as well as support of regulatory compliance issues.
- Adherence to NSG/Pilkington Standards of Business Conduct and its Values and Principles
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Relationships
- Maintains ongoing communication within PIs, supervisors, engineering and maintenance department, and hourly personnel in maintenance and operations.
- Maintains working relationships with contract services for project improvements and maintenance services.
- Maintains a working knowledge of current technical and professional developments in related fields by reviewing information and participating in technical groups or seminars.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Shall learn how company accounting procedures work and how they relate to project management.
- Shall become indoctrinated into understanding the common glass-making terms, which are used within the company.
- Must be trained in ISO9000 and ISO14001 procedures as they relate to engineering.
- Incumbent should go to training schools to learn the procedures needed to work with any specialized processes or machines, which are introduced to the plant.
Salary Range: $80,952 - $97,140
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
