Summary: Responsible for the execution and development of plans and strategies that included targeting luxury TMC’s and consortia partners.
Essential Job Functions: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of Luxury agency experience within the hotel/resort industry.
- Drive high end leisure customers to the Resort during high season and an emphasis on building occupancy during shoulder seasons travel agency community
- Experience with managing given budgets and reporting on intended ROI metrics on budgeted spend and provide feedback and recommendations for future strategies.
- The candidate must have the ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, integrate, recommend, and take actions on agency driven initiatives
- Responsible for agency/TMC strategies and tactics targeted to drive new customer acquisition and shift market share from competing resorts
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experienced using and booking into PMS systems
- Ability to manage and refine the process to address changing business needs.
- Create and manage marketing budgets and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the resorts Marketing, Golf and Spa teams of all-encompassing luxury agency and travel counselor.
- Provide current and accurate financial information, ad hoc reporting, and executive overview to ownership and senior management, as requested.
- Must be able to work a flexible shift, weekends, holidays.
- Establish daily standard of prospecting in upper and lower funnel, to achieve shift in market mix outcome for a repositioning hotel.
- Maximize revenue by selling all facets of the hotel, both verbally and in written form to potential clients.
- Develop and conduct persuasive site inspections and sales presentations to prospective clients, meet with and entertain clients as deemed appropriate by potential business from that account/client.
- Travel locally and nationally to conduct outside calls, promote the hotel, attend tradeshows, and review competition.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree. Five years’ experience in marketing / sales / agencies/ consortia relations.
Language Skills: Exceptional written, verbal and in person skills including etiquette and ability to work with the public. Knowledge of communications skills, exceptional organization skills, ability to deal with diverse clientele, golf knowledge and or marina experience is an advantage.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
