Join Our 5-Star Kitchen Team as a Utility Person (Full-Time)
We are currently seeking a dedicated Utility Person to join our esteemed 5-Star Kitchen team! The ideal candidate will help maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Essential Job Functions:
- Scrape food from dirty dishes and wash them by hand or place them in racks for the dishwashing machine.
- Set up assigned stations with pre-determined mise en place to service prepared items.
- Wash pots, pans, and trays.
- Sweep and mop kitchen floors.
- Clean worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks.
- Segregate and remove trash and garbage into designated containers.
- Steam clean or hose out garbage cans.
- Sort and crush disposable bottles.
- Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
Supportive Functions (as needed):
- Set up banquet tables.
- Assist the production area with plating assistance.
- Wash and peel vegetables.
- Load or unload trucks delivering supplies.
Education/Experience:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school or equivalent education required; experience preferred.
