Position Summary
The Pool Attendant is responsible for providing outstanding guest service while maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and presentation of the luxury pool environment. This role plays a key part in creating a relaxing, upscale, and memorable experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating needs and providing personalized attention
- Monitor pool area to ensure guest safety and compliance with all policies and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of pool deck, lounge chairs, cabanas, and restrooms
- Manage towel service and poolside amenities, ensuring a polished and well-stocked environment
- Assist guests with food and beverage service to enhance the poolside experience
- Support poolside events, cabana experiences, and recreational activities
- Collaborate with Lifeguards, Food & Beverage, and Guest Services teams
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and any emergency situations
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, hotels, resorts, or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining professionalism
- Knowledge of pool safety standards; CPR/First Aid certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
- Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and peak season hours
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Fast-paced, luxury resort setting
- Prolonged standing, walking, and light lifting required
- Must maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance at all times
