About Salama Vintage

Salama Vintage is a curated vintage brand built on intentional style, community, and culture. We operate at markets, online, and through creative content that tells the story of our pieces and our values. We are looking for someone who wants to grow with this brand, not just work for it.

The Role

As a Brand Associate at Salama Vintage, you are the creative engine behind how this brand shows up online. This is a studio-based, content-first role — you will work directly alongside the founder to bring the brand's visual and social presence to life with consistency, care, and creativity.

This is not a customer-facing or sales role. You won't be on the floor at markets or handling transactions. Instead, you'll be in the studio — creating content, managing social channels, conducting research, and tracking performance. You own Salama Vintage's digital presence and bring the brand's story to life across every platform.

What You'll Do

•    Create and capture content in the studio — photo, video, and short-form — that authentically reflects the Salama Vintage brand

•    Manage Salama Vintage's social media channels — scheduling posts, writing captions, and maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms

•    Conduct market research — tracking trends, studying competitors, and understanding audience preferences to inform content direction

•    Track and report on social media performance — engagement, reach, and growth metrics — and share findings directly with the founder

•    Engage thoughtfully with the Salama Vintage online community — responding to comments and DMs in a way that reflects the brand’s warmth and values

•    Maintain a content calendar and proactively bring ideas for campaigns, seasonal drops, and brand moments to the founder

•    Organize and maintain a library of content assets — photos, videos, graphics — so the team can access them efficiently

Who We're Looking For

•    Genuinely passionate about fashion, sustainability, or cultural storytelling

•    A strong executor — you take direction well, follow through completely, and don't need to be asked twice

•    Deeply respectful of people of color and women — this is central to who we are

•    Creative and visually fluent — you notice what looks good and know how to show it

•    Reliable, proactive, and someone who takes ownership of their work

•    Someone who has fun at work and brings that energy to every room they walk into

Bonus Points

•    Experience with vintage, fashion, or lifestyle brands

•    Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Suite, CapCut, or similar content creation tools

•    Photography or videography skills

•    Familiarity with social media analytics tools (Later, Planoly, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
