Job Summary
The Group Lead is responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations to ensure on-time delivery, quality performance, safety, and continuous improvement. This role leads and develops production team members while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners to meet operational and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day production activities to meet delivery, quality, and revenue targets
- Train and cross-train assemblers to ensure product quality, flexibility, and operational coverage
- Adjust workloads and schedules to maximize efficiency and on-time delivery
- Manage component inventories (with support from Production Manager and Manufacturing Specialist) to prevent stock-outs while meeting lead-time goals
- Apply Lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies to improve throughput, quality control, and automation
- Meet or exceed KPIs established for assigned manufacturing lines
- Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and compliant production environment
- Ensure adherence to quality management systems, documentation requirements, and regulatory standards (including timely and complete DHRs)
- Communicate proactively with Customer Service, Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and other stakeholders
- Report daily line performance and operator productivity against established standards
- Ensure all production orders are completed by committed due dates
- Promote and enforce safe work practices and compliance with all safety procedures
- Perform additional related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
- 2–3 years of hands-on production management or supervisory experience
- Experience overseeing safety, quality, delivery, and cost control
- Strong working knowledge of Lean manufacturing and 5S principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Preferred:
- Experience with process equipment and/or instrumentation
- Experience working in ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 environments
- Background in regulated manufacturing industries
