Saladworks Crew Member – Part-Time
Saladworks – Route 38, Mount Laurel, NJ
We’re hiring part-time Crew Members to join our Saladworks team! We’re looking for reliable, friendly, team-oriented people who enjoy staying busy and helping customers.
This is a great opportunity for high school and college students looking for a flexible schedule. It’s also a great first job for someone looking to learn new skills, gain work experience, and develop customer service skills! No previous restaurant experience is required.
Pay: Starting at $15.92 per hour plus tips
Hours: Part-time, with morning, evening, and weekend availability. We are specifically looking for someone available Monday through Friday mornings, (9/10am-4pm, typically) as well as team members for evening and weekend shifts. We’re happy to work around school and class schedules when possible.
Responsibilities
- Prepare salads, wraps, and other menu items according to Saladworks standards.
- Greet customers, provide friendly service, and help create a positive guest experience.
- Operate the cash register and process customer transactions accurately.
- Keep the restaurant clean, organized, and stocked.
- Complete dishes, food prep, and other daily cleaning tasks.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness guidelines.
- Work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
- Friendly attitude and good communication skills.
- Strong customer service, basic math, and time-management skills.
- Ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable staying busy, multitasking, and working as part of a team.
- Food service, restaurant, kitchen, culinary, serving, quick-service, or fast-food experience is helpful. Grocery store or other food-industry experience is also relevant.
- Familiarity with food preparation, food safety management, sanitation, food service order management, and kitchen equipment is a plus.
