Compensation: $110,000 – $150,000 per year

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager/ Superintendent with a strong background in hospitality architecture to contribute from development to execution. Position Summary

Saladino Design, Inc., a boutique hospitality design and architecture firm based in Miami, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager / Superintendent to join our team. This role is integral to bridging design intent with construction execution, ensuring that our projects are delivered with the highest level of craftsmanship, precision, and adherence to our design vision.

The ideal candidate will oversee projects from pre-construction through completion, while also maintaining a strong on-site presence to manage field operations. This individual will report directly to the firm’s management team and play a key role in upholding the quality and reputation of our work across all projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management (Office Coordination)

  • Lead all phases of project delivery, including pre-construction, permitting, budgeting, procurement, construction, and closeout
  • Collaborate closely with the internal design and architecture team to ensure seamless execution of design intent
  • Develop, manage, and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets
  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, vendors, and ownership groups
  • Oversee subcontractor bidding, leveling, contract negotiations, and awards
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation
  • Review construction documents to ensure constructability and alignment with design vision
  • Monitor costs, track change orders, and maintain financial control of projects
  • Navigate permitting processes and ensure compliance with Florida Building Code and local jurisdictions

Superintendent (Field Oversight)

  • Provide hands-on, day-to-day oversight of construction activities on-site
  • Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is executed in accordance with drawings, specifications, and design standards
  • Maintain strict quality control with a focus on high-end finishes, custom details, and specialty installations
  • Coordinate inspections and interface with local building officials and AHJs
  • Lead weekly site meetings and provide progress updates to the management team
  • Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain schedule and design integrity
  • Enforce job site safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in construction project management and/or field supervision
  • Experience in hospitality, restaurant, nightlife, or high-end commercial projects strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and sequencing, with an eye for design detail
  • Working knowledge of Florida permitting processes and building codes
  • Ability to read, interpret, and coordinate architectural and consultant drawings
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, or similar)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with clients, consultants, and internal teams
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solutions-oriented

Licenses & Certifications (Preferred)

  • Florida Certified General Contractor (CGC) or working toward licensure
  • OSHA 30 Certification
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
