What You Will Do: Key Responsibilities
As a Shift Lead, you ensure the success of the shift by balancing leadership with hands-on work.
- Team Leadership & Delegation: Coordinate, delegate, and supervise staff tasks to ensure timely execution.
- Active Operations: Actively participate in all daily activities, including food prep, general cleaning (dishes, sanitizing), stocking inventory, and ensuring a smooth flow during service.
- Customer Experience: Provide exceptional service, interact with customers, and quickly resolve issues for a positive dining experience.
- Training & Mentoring: Train, mentor, and motivate team members to uphold high standards in service, quality, and cleanliness.
- Financial Oversight: Accurately handle and reconcile all shift payment transactions and manage cash.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure the saladbar is clean and organized, strictly upholding all health and safety regulations.
What You Will Bring: Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who is ready to step up and lead!
- Certification: Must possess a current, valid ServSafe Manager certification.
- Experience: Previous experience in a team lead, supervisor, or management role (food service experience is a plus!).
- Communication: An outgoing, engaging personality with strong communication and active listening skills.
- Conflict Resolution: Proven ability to resolve conflicts quickly and efficiently.
- Availability: Must be consistently available to work both days and evenings, including weekends.
