This is a unique opportunity to join SALACT, LLC, a pre-seed stage company, and shape its product, technology,

and culture from the ground up. The journey is divided into two distinct phases: the current Pre-Seed Stage, where you will act as a strategic partner in securing our initial funding, and the Seed Stage, where you will transition into a full-time, salaried leadership role to execute our shared vision.

The Head of Product will be responsible for several key areas. They'll refine and champion the product vision, working to ensure a compelling and cohesive user experience across the entire product ecosystem. This role also entails developing a detailed internal product roadmap, which includes defining features for the foundational app's Minimum Viable Product (MVP). Finally, the Head of Product will contribute to market validation efforts by assisting with competitive analysis and defining target markets, providing data-backed insights to support the overall strategy.

• Compensation: $130,000 - $200,000 Annually Significant Founding Team Equity

Job Description

As a Founding Member and the Head of Product, you will be the voice of the user and the

champion of the product vision. You will own the entire product lifecycle for our suite of

applications, from ideation and user research to launch, iteration, and monetization. You will

work in lockstep with the CEO and Head of Engineering to translate our ambitious vision into a

product that users love and value.

• Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our entire product

suite.

• Conduct extensive user research to deeply understand the needs of our target audiences.

• Translate user needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and feature

specifications.

• Lead the UI/UX design process, ensuring our products are intuitive, engaging, and

beautiful.

• Analyze product performance data to make data-driven decisions and guide the product

roadmap.

Experience

• Minimum: 7 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior

or leadership role. Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling consumer-

facing mobile or web applications.

• Desired Qualifications:

o Previous experience as a founder or early-stage employee at a venture-backed

startup.

o Experience managing products with a significant user-generated content, social,

or community component.

o Experience in the EdTech market or with products that have a B2B licensing

model.

o Experience with products that incorporate AI or machine learning features.

Education

• Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Business, Design, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Desired: A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or a related field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and agile development

methodologies.

• Proficiency in product analytics tools and A/B testing.

• Excellent strategic thinking and stakeholder management skills.
