Duties
- Maintain cleanliness throughout dining areas, kitchens, and service stations to uphold health and safety standards
- Assist with bussing tables promptly to ensure a clean and inviting atmosphere for guests
- Support food service operations by preparing, serving, and delivering food items efficiently
- Handle food with care, following proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and quality
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate orders and ensure timely service
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries professionally
- Support catering events by setting up tables, serving food, and maintaining event areas in pristine condition
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth restaurant or hotel operations
- Key Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables promptly.
- Assist servers in maintaining efficient service flow.
- Refill water and assist guests when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas.
- Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with cleaning protocols, bussing procedures, and food handling techniques
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Experience working in fast-paced settings such as restaurants, hotels, or catering events is preferred
- Knowledge of the food industry standards and customer service best practices
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in busy environments
Required Certifications
- Florida Food Handler Certification
Physical Demands
- Lift up to 40 lbs.
- Stand and move continuously during shifts.
