Duties:
- Assist in preparing ingredients for cooking, such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring ingredients
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistency in food preparation
- Assist in cooking and baking various dishes as directed by the culinary team
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and storing ingredients properly
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during meal service
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times
- Assist with catering events and special functions as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Dietary Aide, Prep Cook, or similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and meal preparation
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
