Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and guide them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to optimize seating.
- Operate the POS system accurately for processing payments.
- Provide menu information and assist guests with their selections.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to coordinate service.
- Uphold high standards of guest relations and hospitality throughout the dining experience.
- Answer phone calls and assist guests in placing takeout orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or food service is preferred.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on phone etiquette.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of POS systems is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
