Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The Server will be responsible for delivering prompt, professional service while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus, offering recommendations and upselling specials to enhance their dining experience
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring all special requests are noted
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized work station
- Handle cash and process payments accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, food handling, and sanitation procedures to meet health regulations
- Buss tables promptly and assist with guest needs to ensure satisfaction throughout their visit
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and food safety standards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any service issues promptly
- Support host/host duties when needed, including seating guests and managing reservations
- Uphold guest relations by providing attentive service, addressing concerns professionally, and creating a welcoming atmosphere
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is advantageous
- Experience in upselling techniques to increase sales while enhancing guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices within the food industry
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and ensure repeat business
- Basic math skills for accurate order entry and cash handling
- Prior experience in serving, bussing tables, or host/host roles is beneficial but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
