What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hostess/Host position at Sakura Buffet Deland?
Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Escort guests to their tables and provide menus
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements
- Answer phone calls and take reservations
- Use POS systems, such as Aloha POS, to process orders and payments
- Ensure the dining area is clean and organized at all times
- Assist with any guest inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with the kitchen and waitstaff to ensure smooth service
Skills:
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional hospitality
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail for accurate order taking and seating arrangements
- Knowledge of hotel guest services is a plus
