The Event Coordinator is responsible for supporting the creation and execution of Saks Fifth Avenue's event strategy, maximizing exposure for Saks Fifth Avenue in the local marketplace, and effectively acting as a liaison between Saks Fifth Avenue's Merchant Team, vendor community and the restaurant.

- You have the ability to manage several projects at one time in a highly organized and effective manner.

- You are an innovative, detail oriented professional with strong planning, implementation and execution skills.
- You have strong partnership skills for use in both internal and external communities to develop and execute all event marketing programs.
- You are a creative and "out-of-the-box" thinker when it comes to developing new and unique event ideas that differentiate Saks Fifth Avenue.
- 4-year college degree (Marketing, Business or Communications preferred) or equivalent experience.
- 3-4 years relevant event experience in fashion, entertainment or retail industries.
- Strong skills in Powerpoint, Word, Excel and Google Docs.
- Coordinate and manage events across Saks Fifth Avenue Flagship Restaurant events, and conduct the analysis and results review for recommendations for future events.
- Assist with planning and execution of new events in the restaurant.
- Support event planning and logistics including communication, creation/communication of turnkey event formats & event directives, budget and recap process.
- Execute marquee events to include invitation development, décor design and show production in restaurant
- Manage event budgets and seasonal vendor chargebacks for events for restaurant
- Assist with national initiatives including focus weeks, brand launches, and holiday activations.
- Proactively analyze event results in order to refine and improve future events which continue to develop business opportunities and maximize sales.
- Ad hoc responsibilities as needed
