You Will Be
The Associate Asset Protection Manager reports to the Store Asset Protection Manager and is responsible for managing inventory shortage performance and ensuring the full execution of the Asset Protection strategy within their designated store. This individual ensures compliance with all company policies, as well as local, provincial, and federal laws during internal and external theft investigations or inquiries. The Associate Asset Protection Manager also works collaboratively with both customers and associates in the store to ensure that all objectives are clearly communicated and effectively executed.

The Associate Asset Protection Manager also works collaboratively with both customers and associates in the store to ensure that all objectives are clearly communicated and effectively executed.
What You Will Do
- Oversee and ensure the integrity of physical inventory by regularly monitoring reports and audits, and by developing internal investigations in collaboration with Asset Protection Investigators.
- Maintain consistent communication with Store Leadership, Managers, and Associates to drive awareness of inventory shortage results, address shortage concerns, support strategic initiatives, and provide updates on external investigations.
- In partnership with Asset Protection and with the approval of the store’s senior leadership team, hire, develop, manage performance, and separate Asset Protection Investigators as needed. The Associate Asset Protection Manager will also make termination recommendations to senior leaders based on the findings of related investigations.
- Provide final insight on audit execution and ensure internal audit readiness.
- Partner with sales support teams to ensure adherence to shortage control processes.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; valid provincial security license also required. A college degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in retail Asset Protection; experience in a luxury retail environment is preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of retail security systems, information systems, and productivity software.
- Proven track record of identifying shortage exposures and implementing creative strategies to resolve them.
- Wicklander-Zulawski certification is preferred.
- Comfortable with public speaking, using technology, and learning in a fast-paced environment.
