Habilitation Technician

A Habilitation Technician supports individuals with development disabilities in developing essential life skills, promoting independence, and improving overall quality of life. The role combines elements of skill development and teaching.

• Teach and reinforce life skills such as communication, social interaction, household tasks, budgeting, and community participation.
  
  
• Implement habilitation goals outlined in individualized service plans.
  
  
• Encourage independence through structured routines and positive reinforcement.
  
  

• Maintain accurate daily logs, progress notes, and goal-tracking data.
  
  
• Participate in team meetings to review client progress and update habilitation plans.
