Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dining experiences to our guests while ensuring their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel valued and appreciated.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to maximize sales opportunities.
- Serve food and beverages in a timely manner while adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through cash handling and basic math skills.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Assist with hosting duties during peak hours, managing reservations through OpenTable as necessary.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred, ideally in fine dining or nightclub settings.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation standards is essential.
- Culinary experience or kitchen experience is a plus, enhancing your ability to understand menu items.
- Strong time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks during busy service periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
