Key Responsibilities
Guest Greeting & Seating:
- Warmly greet guests as they enter the restaurant.
- Assist in managing the flow of guests by guiding them to their assigned tables.
- Provide guests with menus and offer a brief introduction to the dining experience.
Reservation Management:
- Take and manage reservations through phone calls, online platforms, and in-person inquiries.
- Confirm bookings and handle any special requests or arrangements.
- Maintain an organized reservation system to optimize seating arrangements and minimize wait times.
Customer Service:
- Ensure all guests feel welcomed and cared for throughout their visit.
- Address customer concerns or direct them to the appropriate team members when needed.
- Assist with menu questions and make recommendations based on guest preferences.
Maintaining the Host Area:
- Keep the entrance and waiting area neat and organized.
- Monitor the waitlist and communicate wait times to guests accurately.
- Ensure the restaurant’s atmosphere is inviting and comfortable for guests.
Communication & Team Collaboration:
- Communicate guest needs and seating arrangements with the waitstaff, kitchen, and management team.
- Assist with coordinating special events or group bookings.

Handling Payments:
- Present the check to guests and assist with the payment process, including handling cash and credit cards..
Qualifications
Experience:
