Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently and accurately using POS systems.
- Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner to promote sales and enhance their overall experience.
- Manage multiple drink orders while maintaining excellent time management to ensure prompt service during busy hours.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling protocols.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties, while balancing registers at shift end.
- Assist with serving food at bar or banquet settings when required, ensuring proper presentation and timely delivery.
- Monitor guest behavior responsibly in nightclub or hospitality environments to uphold safety standards and promote a positive atmosphere.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings; retail math skills are a plus.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently through excellent time management skills.
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations.
- Experience in the food industry or hospitality sector is preferred; catering or brewing experience is a bonus.
