SAJE Strategic Solutions is seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Director of Business Development to lead the strategic marketing and admissions efforts for a premier skilled nursing facility in Westwood. You will serve as the primary face of the facility, building critical relationships with hospital discharge planners, physicians, and social workers to ensure a high census and a consistent flow of quality referrals.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Market Growth: Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to increase facility visibility and brand awareness specifically within the West Los Angeles area.
- Relationship Management: Act as the lead liaison for major local referral sources, including prominent systems such as UCLA, Cedars-Sinai, and St. John’s.
- Census & Trend Analysis: Monitor referral trends, competitor activity, and conversion rates to consistently meet or exceed occupancy goals.
- Clinical Partnership: Collaborate with Admissions and Clinical teams to facilitate timely pre-admission screenings and ensure seamless transitions for incoming patients.
- Community Engagement: Represent the facility at professional networking events, healthcare symposiums, and local community health fairs.
Required Qualifications
- Industry Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in healthcare business development, marketing, or admissions. Direct experience in Skilled Nursing (SNF) or Long-Term Care is required.
- Local Expertise: Deep existing knowledge of the West Los Angeles healthcare landscape and established relationships with local hospital systems.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed census goals and drive measurable revenue growth.
- Elite Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to build rapport quickly with diverse stakeholders.
